Royal Ascot Wedding

My mother is classy to the "nth".  She wears the hat rather than the other way around.  She is a seamstress with flair and class.  She once designed, made, and performed in an outfit along the lines as Barbara Streisand in Hello Dolly.

But, perhaps it didn't originate with her but my great-great grandmother, Nora McDonald, who was a chanteuse in the theatre.  As a result of circumstance of genetics, I've developed that same timeless, albeit often theatrical, taste.
Regardless of whom I was inspired by, my mother, my second great grandmother, or Audrey Hepburn,  I recently collected on Pinterest several ideas for a stunning black and white wedding.  Some with a touch colour  like sunshine yellow or kelly green to change the flair for the season.  Though none of these are my creations; I celebrate with the ideas that others were brilliant enough to come up with.  At any rate, it's a bit over the top but oh so elegant and timeless.  After all we want our "happily ever after" to be as memorable as possible.  I hope you enjoy the collection I've gathered.

A Worthy Investment

My most recent work is one of great value.  The individual that commissioned me made an investment in me as well as my art.  As such, I hope it will be a reflection of her value and character as much as it is an investment of my time and effort.  This wreath reminds me of the refinement and unexpected flair that echoes the character of the woman for whom it is intended.  Vibrant and distinct; she is full of life and enthusiasm.  May this be a welcoming and cheerful greeting to the entrance of her home.
